In 2017 I bought this table on a flea market. I decided to work on it with Hans (my husband) in mind, as this was his favorite table. At first, was the table painted with a bourbon red, ´cause that´s one Hans favorite colours.
Later on, I glued mirror pieces, but, it was hard to think like Hans and I stopped.
It took me two years before I worked on the project again. This time I decided to express through the table what Hans meant to me. And he was not bourbon red for me.
Hans is “light” for me, he is a positive person and been a doctor, was white an accurate colour.
Hans is a genuine, solid and stable person. He doesn’t care about status, however he appreciates quality, both in terms of matter and people, things that last forever. He is generous, emphatic, and an amazing husband and father to our children. He is intelligent and out of chaos he can find order. He is playful but serious at the same time. He is my support, my summer, my sun, my colours. He makes me bloom and become a better person. I love him.
